- New: Unopened, in original packaging.
- Open Box: New and unused, but packaging has been opened for inspection.
- A+ Grade: Like new, used a few times, no defects or signs of use (may come with or without original packaging).
- A Grade: Like new, minimal signs of use (may come with or without original packaging).
- B Grade: Used, shows signs of wear but is in perfect working condition (may come with or without original packaging).
- C Grade: Used, visible signs of wear or defects, but fully functional (may come with or without original packaging).
By using TechSwap.ge, placing an order, or submitting a listing, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Warranty Information:
Products sold by sellers on TechSwap typically include a minimum 90-day warranty. However, depending on the product and the seller, some items may be offered with a shorter or longer warranty period.
The exact warranty terms for each product are clearly listed in the product description on TechSwap.ge or communicated to the customer prior to completing the purchase. Customers are strongly advised to review and confirm the warranty details before finalizing any transaction.
In some cases, certain products may be sold without any warranty, which will always be disclosed in advance. Additionally, for select products, the price may be adjusted upward or downward if a customer requests a longer warranty period or chooses to purchase the product without a warranty. This option is not available for all products and depends on the seller and product category.
In accordance with Georgian law, customers have the right to request free repairs, a replacement, a price reduction, or contract termination within the warranty period from the date of purchase if the product is found to be defective.
By completing the purchase, the customer confirms acceptance of the warranty period specified for the product, including cases where the warranty is shorter than 90 days or not provided at all.

Warranty Conditions:
If a purchased product develops a technical issue within its stated warranty period, the issue will be handled according to the conditions below.
Primary Resolution – Repair:
If a technical issue occurs during the warranty period, the product will be repaired first, free of charge, provided the defect is caused by the product itself and not by customer actions listed under the “Warranty Does Not Cover” section.
Replacement Eligibility:
If the product cannot be repaired, or if repair is not technically feasible is up to 40 business days, the product will be replaced with:
- The same product in like-new/used condition (if available)
- A full refund of the purchase amount (if replacement not available)
Alternative Solutions:
If neither repair nor a direct replacement is possible due to stock or technical limitations, the customer will be offered:
- A comparable or look-alike product, with either a partial refund or a full refund, depending on the situation.
Exclusions:
Repair, replacement, or refund will not be provided if the issue resulted from misuse, physical damage, liquid damage, unauthorized modifications, or other conditions listed under the “Warranty Does Not Cover” section.
Warranty Policy for Trade-In Transactions:
If you purchased a warranty-covered product through Trade-In service (by exchanging your item and receiving seller's — with or without an additional payment from either side), and you experience issues with the product during the warranty period, TechSwap will provide support based on the following:
- If you received a brand-new product:
The standard warranty policy applies.
- If you received a second-hand product:
The standard warranty policy for used items will apply.
Important Notes Regarding Trade-In Transactions:
- The value of your traded-in item will be determined and communicated at the time of the transaction.
- This value will be documented in the warranty agreement.
- In case of a refund, you will be eligible to receive the total amount equivalent to:
- The trade-in value of your item (as assessed by seller), plus any extra amount you paid, or minus any amount seller paid to you as part of the trade.
Please note that by completing a Trade-In transaction, the customer waives any claim to the original traded-in item. Once completed, we cannot reverse the process or return your original item from seller.
General Warranty Policy:
Warranty service is limited to repairing the item free of additional charges. If the product cannot be repaired, we will replace it with the same or a similar model that meets or exceeds its functionality. (The replacement model may be refurbished but will be in perfect working condition, the warranty period shall be suspended for the duration of diagnostics and repair and extended accordingly upon return of the product to the customer.
In case of a warranty claim, TechSwap will notify the seller and may facilitate the repair process on the seller’s behalf, including coordinating diagnostics and repair services. Witihn 40 business, the repair period begins from the date the product is officially received by TechSwap or the authorized service center, not from the date the issue is reported.
TechSwap may, at its discretion, perform diagnostics or repairs as a service provider acting on behalf of the seller, based on internal agreements with the seller.
Final determination of whether a defect is covered by warranty is made based on diagnostics performed by TechSwap or its authorized service partners.
The seller remains fully responsible for fulfilling warranty obligations, including repair, replacement, or refund.
Any warranty service performed by TechSwap does not transfer seller liability to TechSwap.
TechSwap acts solely as a marketplace and intermediary. Warranty obligations remain the responsibility of the seller. TechSwap may assist in processing warranty claims, notifying the seller, and facilitating diagnostics or repair services on the seller’s behalf, without assuming seller liability.
TechSwap reserves the right to refuse to process a warranty claim in cases of repeated abuse, false claims, or intentional damage. In such cases, the seller retains the right to independently assess and decide on warranty obligations in accordance with applicable law.
In cases of repeated abuse, false claims, or intentional damage, TechSwap may limit access to warranty processing and platform services.
Photo, video, and diagnostic reports prepared by TechSwap or authorized service partners may be used as evidence in warranty assessments.
TechSwap is not responsible for delays or inability to fulfill warranty obligations caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, government restrictions, supplier shortages, or logistics disruptions.
In the case of combined purchases (e.g., a computer with peripherals or other devices), only the defective item will be repaired or replaced, not the entire order.
Transportation to and from our address is at the customer's expense.
Manufacturer Warranty:
In addition to the seller-provided warranty, certain products may also be covered by an official manufacturer’s warranty. Where applicable, the seller may provide a minimum seller warranty (e.g., 90 days) together with an active manufacturer warranty, which is valid based on the product’s serial number and the original purchase invoice or warranty documentation.
Manufacturer warranty terms, duration, and coverage are determined solely by the manufacturer. Claims under the manufacturer’s warranty may require direct contact with the authorized manufacturer service center and submission of the relevant serial number and invoice.
The availability of a manufacturer warranty does not extend or modify the seller’s warranty unless explicitly stated in the product description.
TechSwap acts only as an intermediary in such cases and does not assume responsibility for the manufacturer’s warranty obligations.
Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Expired warranty periods.
- Missing Techswap or factory warranty certificates (if applicable).
- Damage caused by improper installation or reinstallation of the operating system.
- Physical damage, including scratches, cracks, breaks, crushing, melting, burning, or deformation. This includes liquid damage, even if the product is marketed as water-resistant.
- Altered, removed, or damaged factory serial numbers preventing identification.
- Damage caused by non-standard power voltage (e.g., home power supply issues or surge protector failure).
- Equipment not serviced or repaired by Techswap specialists.
- Damage resulting from unqualified or negligent use.
- More than two dead pixel on monitors, laptops, cameras, or phone screens.
Post-Warranty Service – For “Loyal” Status Products:
For products marked with “Loyal” status, we offer an additional 0.5 to 3 years of repair service after the warranty expires, at cost price only.
- This means you will only pay for the spare parts, while the labor and service are provided completely free of charge.

Note:
- This service does not apply to physical damages caused by customer (e.g., broken, drowned, or misused products)
- If the product fails due to reasons outside of the warranty conditions, the post-warranty service may not be fully applicable.
- However, we will always strive to provide the best possible repair offer at a special discounted price.
Return Policy:
Within 14 calendar days of purchase, consumers (individuals) have the right to return the purchased item, either online or physically, without stating a reason.
Note:
- This rule does not apply to legal entities/business subjects; businesses are not entitled to a 14-day return policy under the law.
- The return period begins when the item is handed over to the customer. Once this period expires, the right to return the product is forfeited.
- Customers must cover the cost of returning the goods.
- This provision applies only to sealed products that remain unopened. It does not apply to used or open-box items, nor to sealed products opened at the buyer’s personal request.
- Sealed products are documented and photographed prior to shipment or handover. If a sealed product is returned with any visible changes to the packaging, including but not limited to discoloration, blackening, scratches, dents, tears, or other damage, the return will not be accepted due to the risk of physical damage to the product or packaging after delivery.
- Opening sealed packaging does not affect warranty rights in cases of confirmed defects but may limit the right to return the product without cause, the company reserves the right to question its authenticity and may refund only a portion of the paid amount.
