Frequently asked question
1
What is your service?
TechSwap is an online marketplace and intermediary platform that connects buyers and independent sellers of electronics and tech products. We do not manufacture or directly sell products unless explicitly stated. Our role is to facilitate secure transactions, provide platform tools, and, where applicable, offer TechSwap-managed delivery or support services to make buying and selling tech simple and reliable.

How can I become a seller on TechSwap?
To become a seller on TechSwap, please contact us via email at info@techswap.ge
and complete a simple registration and review process. After successful approval, you will receive the privilege to have your items listed on techswap.ge by our team.
Sellers independently set their prices, descriptions, and terms, while TechSwap provides the marketplace, visibility, and tools to facilitate transactions. Please note that not every application is approved. TechSwap reserves the right to accept or reject seller requests at its sole discretion, without the obligation to provide a reason for refusal
3
Can I quick sell my product?
Yes, you can. By contacting our sales team at +995 557-100-028 and providing details about your product, your item will be shared in our sellers’ chat. The highest offer received from our sellers will then be presented to you for consideration.
Please note that each product is priced individually. For used items, the final price may vary significantly depending on the product’s condition, original packaging, completeness, and other relevant details. Additionally, the valuation price may be lower than the general market price, as all offers are made by independent sellers and not by the TechSwap team. TechSwap does not influence or control the valuation of products and has no impact on the prices offered by sellers.

Why choose us?
TechSwap offers a transparent and efficient way to buy, sell, or quickly evaluate tech products through a trusted marketplace model. We connect customers directly with verified independent sellers, ensuring competitive, market-driven offers.
According to our policy, sellers on TechSwap operate a trade-in system for each product, allowing customers to upgrade or exchange devices more easily. We work only with sellers who are able to offer better prices than the general market, and securing the best possible offer for our customers is our core niche.
Our goal is to keep both buyers and sellers satisfied. We actively work on terms with our sellers so they can offer the most competitive prices possible, while maintaining transparency, clear policies, and optional TechSwap-managed delivery services for a smooth and reliable experience.
5
How do you check sellers’ items?
All products listed on TechSwap go through a verification process based on our internal policies. Sellers are required to provide detailed information, photos, and condition reports for each item before listing.
For certain products and transactions, items may be brought to the TechSwap warehouse or service partners for final inspection and condition confirmation prior to delivery. This process helps reduce disputes and ensures that product descriptions accurately reflect the item being sold.
Please note that responsibility for the product itself, including condition and guarantees, remains with the seller unless otherwise explicitly stated.
6
How does trade-in work?
TechSwap offers a seller-based trade-in system. When you want to trade in a product, you provide details about your device (model, condition, accessories, and other relevant information). This information is then shared with our independent sellers.
Each seller may offer a trade-in value based on the condition, market demand, and their own pricing criteria. The best available offer is presented to you, and if you agree, the trade-in can be completed directly with the seller under the agreed terms.
Please note that trade-in values are set solely by sellers, not by TechSwap. Prices may vary depending on condition, original packaging, completeness, and current market conditions. TechSwap acts only as a facilitator to help both parties reach a fair and transparent agreement.
7
How does the buying process work?
At TechSwap, we primarily operate through a delivery-based purchasing system after orders are placed via our website or by phone.
Once an order is made, we usually arrange a meeting between the seller and the buyer at the TechSwap warehouse, where the customer can inspect the product before finalizing the purchase.
In situations where a seller is unable to meet the buyer in person, we aim to save time for both parties. In such cases, TechSwap may arrange a courier to collect the item directly from the seller’s location and deliver it to our warehouse. This allows the customer to closely inspect the product without waiting for the seller’s availability, ensuring a faster and more convenient buying experience.
8
Are you a pawn shop?
No. Strictly no.
TechSwap is not a pawn shop. We operate solely as an online marketplace and intermediary platform that connects buyers and independent sellers. We do not provide pawn loans, collateral-based lending, or ownership-backed financing, and we do not take ownership of customers’ products.

10
Do sellers sell new and used products?
Yes. Sellers on TechSwap may list both new and used products. The condition of each item—such as new, used, open-box, or refurbished—is clearly stated in the product listing by the seller so customers can make an informed decision before purchasing.
11
Who provides the warranty? What happens if there is an issue with the product?
All warranties and guarantees are provided directly by the seller, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product listing. TechSwap does not issue warranties and does not assume responsibility for seller-provided guarantees.
If there is an issue with the product, including defects or warranty-related claims, the customer must contact the seller directly to resolve the matter. TechSwap may assist with communication between the parties when possible, but responsibility for after-sales support, repairs, replacements, or refunds remains solely with the seller.
12
Is TechSwap responsible for scams or fraud?
TechSwap actively works to reduce the risk of scams or fraudulent activity by applying seller verification procedures and internal control measures. However, as an intermediary marketplace, TechSwap is not responsible for fraudulent actions committed by independent sellers.
That said, TechSwap makes every reasonable effort to collect and maintain full identification and contact information of sellers. In the event of suspected fraud or illegal activity, TechSwap will be able to provide all available seller information to law enforcement authorities in accordance with applicable laws and legal requests.
